Hey all!

I got enough responses in to place the orders for everything. I expect to receive the keychains, pins, plush, and tapestries by mid-February.

And just a heads up in case you are concerned with finances this time of year, I am not charging cards for shipping/add-ons until 01FEB2025. Here is my full timeline:

17Jan2025 - Lock Orders
- You can change your order up to this date! I will share pin/keychain photos as I get them in case that influences your decision
01Feb2025 - Charge Cards for add-ons & shipping
 - This is also the deadline for completing your survey, if you have not completed it by Feb you will be dropped from the project.
15Feb2025 - Lock Addresses
Late Feb - Begin Shipping

Hey all,

Surveys have been reviewed, and in case you are not a backer - the preorder shop has now opened up!

Please fix your payment method if your campaign pledge charge has errored - there are over 30 of you with failed/errored pledges. 

The "smoke test" for the surveys will go out today. This sends surveys to a random 5% of backers. If you are one of the lucky few, please let me know if there are any issues! Once this is successful, I will route the survey to everyone.

I know we are all busy this time of year, but please fill it out as soon as you can! The quicker I can get an idea of numbers, the quicker I can place all of the orders and get your stuff to you.

I'll be back to bug stragglers in a few days, but for now...

Hey all!

Thank you SO MUCH for your support on this project. I was concerned from the start that gryphons would be a bit too niche to raise much funding, but I'm glad to see I was proven wrong :)

We did not quite hit 25k, but since we are so close I still plan to commission the artwork for the thank you postcard! I'll be in touch with thumbnails and such when we get there.

I've got a head start on production to get things out to you early 2025:


  • Plush: in production, safety testing passed, updating tag information
  • Tapestry: in production
  • Pins & Keychains: mockups complete, quote requested for estimated amount - just need to wait for survey numbers prior to ordering
  • Stickers: mockups complete, will order soon - these are quickest
  • Thank You Artwork: Emailing for commission quote today

Only 4 Days left, 300 Backers! Final Stretch Goal...

Hey all,

We just hit 300 backers! What a fantastic achievement! 

We've unlocked the plush, tapestry, six 2in pins, six 1in pins, six minipins, two keychains, and several stickers.

I've decided on a final stretch goal:

At $25k I will commission an extremely skilled and experienced fantasy artist for a gryphon painting! 

All backers will receive a postcard print of this painting as the thank-you for this project with their order, and you will have the option to purchase larger high quality gryphon prints directly from the artist. I am confident that this artist will create something that will be well loved by everyone backing this project, and that outsourcing this art to them will allow me to focus better on fulfilling this project. 

How can you help get us there? Share share share! I'm not using paid advertising for this project, but I've found that organic reposts of the project work just as well.

On the technical side of things:
  • plush safety testing is almost complete - results expected tomorrow
  • finishing pin mockups for manufacturing quotes

Hippogriff & Baby Gryph unlocked! What next? Plus chickens!!!

Hey everyone!

We've unlocked the handsome hippogriff, key & bird minipins, and though at the time of publishing we haven't quite hit the 21k for the baby gryphon, I'm calling him unlocked as well :)


Now... what next?! I want to make sure I give back to my supporters as much as possible, so I want YOU to tell me what you want to get at the 25k mark in the comments!

I'll start a poll when I have more solid concepts, but some options are- free sticker, free minipin, new design for larger merch offered at a discount- idk hats or something? lol I'll have some time over the Thanksgiving holiday to work on art and designs.

Coop Co-Op Final Day!
AlstroArts, Roundbirb, Kens Pin Hustle, and I are also currently wrapping up the Chicken pin Coop Co-op over on Kickstarter, so please check that out if you're interested in chickens! my designs are pretty nice, but their designs are just stunning so I hope you can give them a look! We've just unlocked ALL the designs - roosters, chickens, and chicks.
